With winter almost here and in the Wizarding World, it would be time for the Yule Ball. While Harry might not have taken his future wife to the dance, we are transporting you to the wedding every witch and wizard would have been dying to get an invite to. Delivered by an owl of course!
Shelby and Anna from Your Jubilee created this moody magical wizarding wedding inspiration captured by Allison Slater Photography. Set at the base of the Superstition Mountains in Lost Dutchman State Park, Harry and Ginny exchange vows in an intimate ceremony. Bohemian rugs lined the aisle leading up to the altar accented with a wooden triangular arch with florals by Butterfly Petals.
The bride stunned in a lace gown with plunging neckline and bell sleeves from Lovely Bride, while the groom looked dapper in an all black ensemble from Celebrity Tux & Tails. Ginny’s fiery hair paired with the rich deep red blooms in her bouquet.
Transition to the reception under the real stars and not under the bewitched ceiling of the Great Hall at Hogwarts, a cozy farm table is set with black plates, amber goblets and gold flatware from The Confetti Studio. Finishing the whimsical day, the couple cut their black cake surrounded by floating candles and sipped on their signature cocktails, Felix Felicis and Bourbon Butterbeer.
The books may not have given us the wizarding wedding we were all dying to see, but this Harry Potter wedding inspiration satisfies more than what we could have imagined.
