Nothing stands out more in a desert landscape than a radiant couple in love. StepOnMe Photography captured the couple in love amongst a plethora of cacti and natural foliage in this White Tank Mountains engagement session. Julianne and Jesse look genuinely happy together in their cobalt blue outfits that pop against the expansive and clear skies in the background. The outdoors have always had an effect on the couple, who met while they were each exploring Sedona with friends in early 2016. Julianne, being a little bit shy, did not approach Jesse herself but her best friend struck up a conversation between the three of them. After they chatted for a bit, Jesse couldn’t stop thinking about Julianne and even told his best friend that he had found “the one.” After finding “the one,” he almost let her get away but after about an hour Julianne accidentally walked by Jesse again and he took the opportunity to ask for her number.
After dating for two years, the couple took a trip to Rocky Point, Mexico, where Julianne traveled to often during her childhood. Julianne shared her favorite spots and the special childhood memories that went along with it with Jesse during the beginning of their trip. One of her favorite things Julianne pointed out to Jesse was the beautiful sunsets you can see at Rocky Point. Jesse cleverly used that information to plan out his surprise proposal on a gorgeous sunset beach. The couple will tie the knot in March 2019 at the Kiva Club at Vistancia, with StepOnMe Photography.
