The charming ambiance of the historic House Brasserie is an elegant setting for an intimate rehearsal dinner. The wedding party dines within an atmosphere of a bygone era, as “The House’s” namesake is one of the oldest residences in Scottsdale, built in 1939. It is an elegant throwback when hospitality trumped all; especially within the home.
The Flori.Culture, juxtaposed a avant garde style with romantic white blooms of Roses, Hydrangea, and Cymbidium Orchids between elegant, metallic candlesticks for the fireside centerpiece. This floral recipe of glitz & glam highlights House Brasserie’s culinary adventure experimenting with French, African, and American cuisines.
Vintage Couture Reception Inspiration
The bride fashions a mod style from the 1920’s era. The period aesthetic is represented in a luxury vintage collection; an graceful J Mendel blush wedding gown, Jimmy Choo heels, a Garlands Fox stole, Napier pearl necklace, a statement Lisa Cotton cocktail ring, delicate Chanel bangles, and a Judith Leiber rhinestone handbag all from To Be Continued consignment shop.
The bridal bouquet’s recipe of creamy, blush Cymbidium Orchids and trailing Willow Eucalyptus highlight the the vintage wedding dress. The stems are gathered with art deco lace ribbons and gros grain sage accents to accompany the foliage. Notice the trimmed Eucalyptus to present a modified look after the ceremony.
Upon the crisp white linen, a collection of heritage tableware from the bride and groom’s families adorn the head-table. The Blue Ridge patterned, hand-painted dishware accompany the champagne glasses the mother-of-the-bride’s own bridal registry. The heirloom collection combines generations for a charming style that is only yours and evoke precious family memories.
The emerald lawn and the glossy texture of the lake set the stage for the natural, organic setting. A sage-green garland of Willow Eucalyptus and modern accoutrement of Cymbidium Orchid blooms captures a distinctive combination of sophisticated whimsy.
