It’s almost time for the start of one of the most beautiful seasons in Arizona – spring! With mild weathered days and the mercury in our thermometers hanging in the 70s, springtime makes for a perfect season to be married in. With all the rain Arizona has been receiving this year, the desert landscape is much more vibrant and greener than normal. One thing to consider while planning your wedding date is to take into account the seasons in which your favorite florals are blooming. Trying to gather bouquets of bloom that are in their off-season can not only be incredibly difficult for your florist, but it can also be quite costly to you. We’ve taken the hassle out of guesstimating what florals will work best with this wonderful Arizona climate in the spring and collected some inspiration of spring florals to get you and your florist’s creative juices flowing!
Pinks such as soft blush, bright cameo, and sweet cotton candy can work together to create a fanciful fairytale-like effect or can be mixed to emulate an elegant garden party for your big day. We love the idea of incorporating white roses with pink peonies and aspen leaves for super chic look. Or if rustic chic is more your style, we love the combination of anemone, statice, and protea florals. For more intrigue, the traditional assortment of lilies looks stunning when paired with unique blooms like lisianthus. Lastly, bring your “something blue” into your bouquet! With white roses and ranunculus as a backdrop, add a handful of agapanthus or cornflowers to the center of the bouquet. As so many spring florals are in bloom, it’s hard to settle on just one style for your Arizona wedding!
