While the first week of July is the best time to celebrate, you don’t want to risk your wedding turning into a 4th of July BBQ. For our bold and beautiful 4th-of-July brides, we are introducing citrus and stripes as “Hues to Use” when embellishing your summer wedding.
Citrus Center Pieces:
There are a few fun and easy ways to incorporate citrus fruits into your wedding day decor, one of the easiest, being to add them to the centerpieces. For a subtle and easy way to liven up a common flower and vase look, try adding circular lemon or orange slices to the vases of your floral centerpieces. This can add that pop of color to your baby’s breath, or will complement any bold floral color. If you’re wanting to make the fruit the center of attention, lay them out on a bed of greenery, or arranged in a pot or on a cake stand.
Striped Table Lines:
To incorporate that little bit of 4th of July festivity, we suggest using blue and white striped embellishments. Table linens, for example, are a way to add a lot of decor with a minimal amount of supplies. Try alternating the stripes with a plain white linen, on every other table, and top with white dishes and blue napkins. This look, combined with the citrus fruits will keep the decor festive and tasteful for your summer wedding.
