Arizona is rich with historical landmarks unique to the state and El Chorro, built in 1937, is one of the most timeless. Located in Paradise Valley, the venue is surrounded by lush foliage and stunning views of Camelback Mountain. Rackel Gehlsen Weddings & Events drew inspiration from this venue to create a setting highlighting Arizona’s beauty in this upscale desert romance shoot. The circular garland represented a wedding band and easily integrated into the natural landscape for a simple ceremony altar. The bride wore a modern Galla Lahav gown paired with a lush bouquet of white and blue florals designed by Alexis Grace Florals. Her soft makeup and updo were the perfect subtle enhancement. The groom looked absolutely distinguished in a classic black tux and the couple looked like a dream amongst natural Arizona cacti. Victoria York Design carried on the soft palette with a beautifully elegant invitation detailed in more shades of blue.
The reception area set in the classic El Chorro setting naturally fits into the energy of the outdoors. The table design brought in more soft colors with brushed gold accents in glassware, candles, chargers and flatware. The velvet linens on the table and fur accents on the seats added an extra layer of elegance and texture. The solid colored cake in an interesting blue hue was the perfect final accent and the white roses adorned on top carried an air of elegance. The mood of the entire shoot was understated elegance and the execution makes any bride want to use something blue in new and appealing ways.
