We have all dreamt about a forever love, a love that follows us through thick and thin. Briana and Ken have just that! These two met in high school at the traditional hoppin’ hangout, the movie theater. After talking for a bit, Ken informed Briana that the two of them had been neighbors for awhile now. So Ken, being the neighborly person he is, asked Briana for her number. As Briana began to repeat her digits, Ken realized his phone had died. In that moment, Briana decided to play hard to get and told him if he wanted it he’d need to find it. Sure enough Briana received a text from Ken a few days later. It was then that this relationship began. Two proms, college, long distance and 10 years went by and the time came for the romance to take its next step. Knowing Briana’s love for Christmas, Ken took her to Leavenworth, Washington. If you don’t know the place, we highly suggest a google search! It may as well be called Christmas headquarters. It was in this town at an open fire in the woods where Ken got on one knee. Being the traditional person she is, she made sure Ken had asked for her father’s permission then said yes!
After being together for 10 years, Briana and Ken know that things and trends tend to change over the years so they decided to keep their wedding classic and timeless. This was executed in every aspect of fairytale wedding, from the floral arrangements to Briana’s Cinderella ball gown. Literally, her gown was named Cinderella by the designer, Galia Lahav. The dainty sweetheart bodice was a small accent to the beautiful full skirt and train. Briana’s Cinderella beauty was accompanied by soft tan floor length bridesmaid dresses from Bella Bridesmaids, true white flowers and greenery galore! There were flowers in every spot to create their very own fairytale wedding at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. They even incorporated floral wrapped crystal chandeliers floating overhead the ceremony and reception and, to add another timeless aspect to their day. These details were perfectly captured by Andrew Jade Photography. As the couple did everything to keep it traditional, they also added their own personal touch by having a single harpist play during their ceremony. Although this may not be traditional to most, Briana made this decision because her parents had a single harpist when they exchanged vows. A possible new tradition in the family?
The couple had the help of BTS Event Management to plan their perfect day shared under the flowers with their family and friends. After 10 years, the high school sweetheart’s day felt overdo but is a day they will remember forever.
