This springtime destination wedding for Courtenay and Lee is absolutely darling! Held at The McCormick Scottsdale, this colorful Arizona wedding leaves us swooning over their pictures captured by Drew Brashler Photography. As Calgary natives, Courtenay and Lee were over shoveling snow and fighting off the cold weather. They knew they wanted a fresh, warm wedding to celebrate the special day with family and friends. And what better place to turn to than Arizona? Having visited Scottsdale many times for getaway trips, the couple decided to start planning their wedding in this beautiful town that represented happiness and renewal to them. It ended up being a perfect choice, and all of the guests thoroughly enjoyed the weather as nearly all of them were from Canada.
Courtenay and Lee chose electric navy and snow white with ice pink accents for their springtime destination wedding palette. The mix of bright and soft hues truly complemented the polished Old World architecture of The McCormick Scottsdale and brought the whole space to life. Delicate florals combined with cacti in modern planters form an incredible wave of accents that draws inspiration from both romantic fairytales and the natural desert landscape. At the reception, the bride’s father said a special toast for the newlyweds truly touched the couple and was a memory they will not forget. Scrumptious food was served by The McCormick Scottsdale catering before everyone hit the dance floor and enjoyed the rest of the night in style.
