Knowing that your significant other is the one, like THE ONE, is a feeling that we all long for. Lucky for Emily and Doug, they knew. The couple met after being active in their church family, and they got to know each other throughout the years. After about a year and a half of getting to know each other and falling in love with each other, they knew they were meant to be. During this last holiday season, Doug and Emily took a trip to the Desert Botanical Garden for their lights and luminarias that they put up each year. On their stroll through the lights, Doug stopped along the path and turned towards Emily. It was then that Emily felt that her heart would never be the same. Doug got down on one knee and popped the question. Emily said it was the easiest question in the world to answer! She said yes, of course, how could she say no to the love of her life?
Emily and Doug looked cozy and in love during their snowy Arizona engagement session Jonathan Allison Photography did an incredible job capturing the love that these two share, even in the middle of the blizzard! Their photo session took place in Flagstaff, Arizona, and looked like a winter wonderland thanks to the blizzard that took place mid-shoot! Despite the snow, the photos turned out better than they could have ever imagined and the couple is eager to get more unforgettable photos at their wedding in a few short months! Doug and Emily plan to get married in November of 2019 at The Wright House with Jonathan Allison Photography.
