Britt and Jason decided to tour Arizona together to see some of the famous sights. While visiting Lake Powell, the couple took a walk out on the dock before dinner. Britt was in awe of the sunset and started to take a panoramic photo on her phone. As she did, Jason pulled out the ring and waited for her to see it. “It took me a few moments,” said Britt. “When it didn’t register, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.”
Arizona’s Sonoran desert in the peak of springtime was the inspiration played out by the couple for their Sedona wedding captured by Jane in the Woods. Deep purples, sage greens and golden yellows danced together to create a serene environment. Mutual friend Andrea performed the beautiful ceremony for the couple. “She has known us both since the beginning,” mentioned Brit. “So her words came from a place of love and friendship.”
“Seeing our reception area for the first time was a literal dream come true,” remarked the bride. Layered florals, exotic fruits, and decadent candles brought the couple’s vision for their Sedona wedding to life. The rich colors and textures intertwined to make the whole space come alive with celebration. When the DJ played the theme song from “New York, New York,” someone start a kickline and everyone joined in!
