The Proposal: After almost a year of dating, Nathan took Kayla on a special day date to relive all their important firsts, including their first date, first kiss and where the relationship started. To end the day, Nathan treated Kayla to a special dinner. “He took me back to the place where we had first met almost 6 years prior,” Kayla remembered. As she walked through the door, all their friends and family were there holding signs reading “Will you marry me?” Kayla turned to see Nathan on one knee and immediately said yes!
The couple married at the Agave Wedding Center overlooking the Sedona Red Rocks. Kayla’s favorite moment of the day was the look on Nathan’s face as she walked down the aisle. “He couldn’t stop smiling and I felt the same,” she said. Nathan and Kayla’s favorite movie, The Princess Bride, contributed to the overall light and fun feel of the day. “With our favorite movie quotes incorporated into the ceremony, it was easily the happiest day of our lives,” Kayla stated.
The newly Mr. and Mrs. entered the room to the song “Everything Is Awesome” from The Lego Movie. It kicked off the fun and casual reception of their Sedona wedding where guests enjoyed a variety of BBQ and boozy sips. The night ended with the couple making their getaway in a fully decorated black Mustang convertible.
