Timing determines everything in life and is what brought this sweet couple together. Mallory and Jordan grew up less than a mile from each other and had various mutual friends before meeting one night at a bowling alley, where they automatically connected. On an annual summer trip to Michigan for Mallory to see her family, Jordan planned the engagement with her mom and sister, having asked both sets of Mallory’s parents for their blessing. The couple took a trip to Lake Michigan along with Mallory’s family and in a picture perfect moment at sunset, the couple got engaged!
Both Mallory and Jordan wanted to exude joy on their garden wedding day at Aldea Weddings at The Landmark. The white florals and subtle gold accents popped against rich greenery and breathed a whole new life into the room. Mallory stunned in a gown with a full skirt fit for a princess. Her pink heels and sneakers added just a touch of sparkle and coordinated perfectly with her bridesmaids’ soft pink dresses in a variety of styles. The couple made it a priority to include their families and their religion in a special way. Their families prayed over the couple before their ceremony, conducted by their local pastor, which included personal vows and a time for communion. EffJay Photography perfectly captured the feelings of their intimate ceremony and the pure joy at their reception. The couple enjoyed delicious food together, danced with friends and got to enjoy their personal candy bar filled with their favorite treats. Mallory and Jordan were able to dance the night away with nearly 200 guests and shared special moments alone with their first dance and a final dance alone while everyone else prepared their exit. Mallory and Jordan radiated happiness while drifting through the sparkler exit before they were whisked away for their wedding night in an incredible vintage car.
