Online dating is taking the dating world by storm and becoming the catalyst to many people finding their forevers. So what is it that makes someone interested in the plethora of choices on these dating sites? For Scarlett, it was George’s sweet pup, Dude. As she read more about him she discovered being a dog lover was non-negotiable for him, as it was for her. As the story goes, Scarlett and George met with their dogs at the dog park on their first date. Scarlet’s dog, named George, (Yes! Her dog is named George, too!) was the one who made it clear he approved of George and Dude by leaving a little tinkle on George’s shoe. Now, eight years later, the dogs are a huge part of their love story. After years of dating, the proposal happened surrounded by family and in the most unexpected way. Scarlett was in the pantry when George called her name from behind. She turned around to see him on one knee in between her parents with a ring box in his hands.
Eleven months of planning later, the big day arrived. Scarlett and George were surrounded by a small group of 50 special people for their private estate wedding. Y-Knot Party & Rentals created an oasis for everyone to celebrate in. Sunflowers added a homey and cheerful feel to the beautiful scenery. Maewood Photography captured the sweetest memories for the couple. One of their favorite shots was their first look seeing each other. Scarlet and George were both concerned with making sure their guests all felt as special as they truly are to couple. The wedding was centered around celebrating the new chapter in the pair’s life. Don’t forget the dogs though! They made sure to have one of their loving pups, Summer, with them on the special day to bring everything back full circle.
