This week we are excited to show you an exclusive look at MIX 96.9 host Priscilla and her fiancé Michael’s engagement session. Originally, the couple met under a rather random circumstances when Priscilla was participating in a scavenger hunt at a friend’s out-of-town bachelorette party. Michael was wearing a bowtie, which was the first thing on the scavenger hunt list. The group was excited to get their first win, but little did the pair know the chance meeting would lead to marriage!
When it came time for Michael to propose, he set up an “impromptu” date at a comedy show. Michael employed the use of some friends to help, and they invited Priscilla to go to CityScape with them after the show. At the end of the comedy show, Priscilla got a text from her friends saying that they bought tickets to go ice skating – yet Priscilla was in a dress! Not wanting to be impolite, she accepted the offer and went skating with them and Michael. While the couple was preoccupied on the ice rink, the friends stuck the engagement ring inside an ornament and hung it on the Christmas tree in the middle of the ice rink. While the couple took a break from ice skating next to the tree, Michael wondered aloud if they could remove some of the ornaments. In the next moment, he removed the one with the ring and opened it while getting on one knee. As he proposed, Priscilla immediately said yes!
Photographed by Saje Photography, this beautifully modern rustic engagement session encapsulates the love shared by the couple in a unique and dazzling way. Taken at the Monroe Abbey in Phoenix, the photos reflect the antique yet refined architecture that makes for a completely romantic setting. Priscilla dons a beautiful floral dress with Makeup Artistry by Natalie styling her look. For the gorgeous bouquet and alcove set-up with lit candles and blooms, the couple used The Confetti Studio and The Petal Theory. We hope you enjoy these marvelous photos from MIX 96.9 host Priscilla and Michael’s engagement session.
