Erin and Scott’s meeting can only be described as serendipitous. On the urging of family, the pair reluctantly set off to a football watch party at a mutual friend’s apartment. Little did they know, they were about to meet their future spouses! After almost a year of dating, the couple went on their first big trip together to Europe. While in Paris, Scott planned the perfect surprise proposal at the Garden de Tuileries with a hidden photographer to capture the special moment!
The couple celebrated with a traditional Jewish ceremony for their Scottsdale wedding captured by Katrina and Andrew Photography. “It was really important to me that we went through the same rituals as my family members before me,” Erin said. In Jewish tradition, the couple signed the Ketubah in an intimate, meaningful ceremony prior to the wedding ceremony. “I loved having my Grandfather’s tallit wrapped around us for the ceremony, and my Grandmother’s engagement ring on my finger, it made me feel like they were with us on our special day,” remembered Erin.
Guests and the couple hit the dance floor and started the The Hora with Erin and Scott being held up in chairs together. “I loved Scott playing the guitar and me signing with the band,” recalled Erin as her final two highlights from the night.
