We’re excited to share with you Minson Weddings beautiful photos from Ashley and Shane’s sunset Lost Dutchman wedding at the Superstition Mountains. The couple originally met in high school, but the spark wasn’t there (yet!). They decided to go their separate ways, and ended meeting back up in 2010. Ashley and Shane dated for five years, and in June of 2015 they went on an exciting family camping trip together. In the midst of the camping adventure, someone suggested to take a group photo. While everyone gathered together for the picture, Shane got down on one knee as they took the picture. Once Ashley realized what was going on, she immediately accepted the proposal. The couple got to celebrate the moment with their family.
Ashley and Shane hosted their Lost Dutchman wedding at the foot of the Superstition Mountains as the sun set on the horizon. The desert cacti and colorful sky provided a stunning backdrop to their “I dos.” When Shane recited his vows to his step-daughter, Ava (who was the Maid of Honor), there wasn’t a dry eye in attendance. After the emotional ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed a laid-back reception decorated with turquoise and copper elements to compliment the desert beauty and provide sufficient contrast for a unique look. A sparkler exit awaited the couple as they retreated to the Inn at Eagle Mountain for the night. The couple plans to honeymoon later this year.
