Overlooking the Irish Sea just north of Dublin, the Ardgillan Castle sits among the emerald forests and rolling grasslands that are filled with centuries of history. While on her first trip to Ireland, Rachel Leintz Photography was instantly inspired by the nobles of the Middle Ages and the surrounding abundance of castles. The thought of a feminine ancient forest spirit transporting through the eras of time happened to fit ideally with her overall vision for this Lady of Ireland styled shoot.
Rachel created two looks for the shoot, first the Lady of the Woods being powerfully mysterious and second being the Lady of the Manor manifesting European royalty. For the first look, the Luna gown with it’s on-trend flowing trail designed by Kelly Faentanini from bridal boutique Beau Bridal of Dublin, reminds us of a forest fairy’s wings. The floral crown with the bouquets designed by Shirley Watson of All Seasons Florals locally in Ireland becomes the perfect addition to this look and just pops so beautifully with the background of the deep forest greenery.
The Lady of the Manor shows a dramatic and passionate side in the historic atmosphere styled with a handcrafted tiara in a classic bridal updo, and the crystal bodiced designed gown by Anna Campbell found at Lovely Bride in Phoenix. Staying with the theme, Victoria from Phoenix-based Victoria York Design created the most romantic invitations with moody florals and a classic black envelope, which went well with the castle environment.
