Love My Life Photography captured Kristin and Jared’s beautiful lakeside Prescott wedding. The couple’s families lived only a few houses away from each other, so Kristin and Jared originally met and hung out as friends. They soon began dating and have been inseparable ever since. On the day of the proposal, Jared scheduled a relaxing massage for Kristin. While Kristin enjoyed the massage, Jared decorated her car with flowers and left a note specifying their dinner date and time. That night under a starry sky, Jared popped the question and Kristin said yes!
Kristin and Jared chose to highlight specific principles in their wedding rather than work with a certain theme. The couple promoted equality through egalitarian ideals during their wedding. There were male and female attendants for the bride and groom, and both Kristin’s mother and father walked the bride down the aisle. Additionally, Kristin herself wrote the wording for the ceremony to leave out antiquated standards or gender roles. The special touches and personal moments were witnessed by 100 friends and family members. After the wedding, Kristin and Jared opted to stay in town and enjoy time with family rather than go on a honeymoon.
