The Proposal: Cody and Bailey drove up to Flagstaff for a fun, mini-day date. After eating at Bailey’s favorite fish taco restaurant, the couple went for a short hike at Snowbowl. Bailey noticed Cody was very flustered at the fact she had accidentally let his GoPro die but thought he just wanted to document the hike. Little did Bailey know Cody planned the perfect intimate proposal along the trail! She happily accepted, and they finished their hike as an engaged couple.
The couple took a unique route and wrote their vows together. “It felt incredibly special to really hone in on the things that we wanted our marriage to be centered around,” Bailey stated. Adding to their special day, Bailey’s dad was ordained to officiate the ceremony. “There was no ‘aisle’ for him to walk me down, but having him officiate was equally meaningful to us.” Surrounded by family and their adorable daughter, Bailey and Cody tied the knot in an intimate, Sedona elopement wedding among the stunning natural Red Rocks.
After the ceremony, the party headed to a local Latin restaurant for a bite to eat. “It was wonderful time spent together celebrating our marriage,” Bailey remembered. On the advice of their photographer, the couple snuck away for a few quick sunset shots. Later the group headed to the guests’ lodging for a traditional cake cutting and toasts!
