Every wedding is a celebration of a union of two people – sometimes very different people. Alexis and Levi merged their different styles for their gorgeous Fall farmhouse wedding captured by Steph Wahlig. The couple met only five months before they got engaged while Alexis was working at a coffee shop. She complimented Levi’s Camaro and two weeks later he showed up again in a different car. Alexis still remembered him and after chatting for a bit they exchanged numbers. They hit it off quickly and a few months later Levi proposed during a romantic Valentine’s Day celebration in Sedona. While up on top of Carousel Rock, Levi got down on one knee while Alexis wasn’t paying attention and asked her to be his wife.
From that point on, the hectic and sometimes stressful nature of wedding planning kicked into high gear. Levi likes steampunk and industrial styles, while Alexis likes farmhouse and vintage so one of their biggest priorities was blending those styles to create a celebration that let people into their lives. Every special moment of the day was captured by Steph Wahlig. Alexis’ beautiful gown from a local boutique was a classic dream. Her beautiful bouquet incorporated vibrant red flowers and included a photo of her grandfather who had passed. The deep red color popped against the groomsmen’s black suits, with a gorgeous flower on Levi’s lapel. The couple’s family was involved in the big day as well; Alexis’ sister married the couple and Levi’s son was his best man. He also gave a special toast during the reception, before everyone danced the night away. The newlyweds were ushered into marital bliss through a sea of shining sparklers held up by their guests before getting into the Camaro that brought them together and driving off to an Airbnb.
