Spring has sprung and that means it is time for the wedding scene to transition. From lovely lilacs, luminous lavenders to elegant eggplants, purple is the perfect season transition color. The best part of this sweet color is no matter what shade you choose, it blends perfectly with almost anything you want to mix it with! Some of our favorite combinations include pinks and blues with lots and lots of greenery.

When it comes to color, your floral arrangements are going to be the easiest place to add lavender and eggplant. Sweet pea flowers are whimsical and perfect for a pink, purple, and blue color scheme. If you are looking for a statement bouquet, wild indigo or lupin flowers will turn heads for sure. Lilacs and lavender will give you beautiful aromas throughout the day and into the evening. For a classic bouquet look, grab those orchids and irises. The great thing about all shades of purple is how well they go with beautiful greenery. Add eucalyptus to any of your bouquets, and you are sure to find beauty at every angle. We are also loving the mixture of succulents in bouquets. The best part is, a lot of these succulents will have purple undertones and look gorgeous in combination with other greenery.

Other places to showcase the pops of purple are going to be in your place settings. Sweet satin napkins add a slice of softness and beauty to your table. Purple crystal glasses are also a subtle touch and very classy. Place cards and menus are also a great way to throw in a touch of color. For a more relax and muted look, you can incorporate a watercolor motif. If you are looking to make purple the main color for your wedding, your bridesmaid’s dresses are also the perfect spot to highlight color. More modern weddings are having all the dresses be the same color, but different styles. If you really want to switch it up, it is also very unique to have the dresses be all different shades of a color. From lavender and eggplant to lilac and violet, adding purple to your big day is the perfect way to add a pop of color for spring!
