A wedding this grand only needs the bride and groom to make it the most special day of their lives. Jordan and Joe forewent a large ceremony and eloped at a local courthouse with just the two of them. The couple met six years before their summer 2017 Grand Canyon elopement, while both were out with their respective group of friends. In December of 2015, Joe proposed at the scenic Walnut Canyon in northern Arizona. Jordan and Joe were intent on creating a relaxed mood going into their union together. As many other couples have noticed, an elopement offers just that, a relaxed and private ceremony with the one person that matters most.
After Jordan and Joe eloped at the courthouse, the new bride and groom went to the Grand Canyon for pictures as a remembrance of their intimate day. The incredible view seemed to be set out of an awe inspiring film, and the couple looked just as amazing to match. Jordan looked stunning in her elegant and simple gown against the amazing landscape view. Jane in the Woods captured the gorgeous Grand Canyon elopement shots that showcase the newlyweds’ joy, unparalleled by the magnificent scene. The couple surprised friends and family with a wedding announcement and had a wedding reception with just over 50 guests to celebrate. The reception was held at the Talking Stick Resort and was the ideal casual conclusion to an intimate and special wedding for Jordan and Joe.
