From the bride’s art deco gown to the glitz and glam details, we are loving this Gatsby Inspired Tucson wedding caption by Rachel Leintz Photography.
After a chance meeting, Christie and Jesse dated for seven years when Jesse planned the perfect romantic proposal. Under the night sky with a light drizzle coming down, Jesse dropped to one knee and proposed in the exact spot the couple had shared their first kiss.
Together, the couple planned their dream wedding, tastefully combining decor with a classically cool feel. Christie shined in a fit and flare, sweetheart neckline gown with an intricate beaded overlay. She paired her look with a crystal, vine-inspired headpiece and a cathedral veil. Jesse looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo, crisp white shirt and black bowtie. Keeping with the Gatsby theme, the bridal party looked elegant with the bridesmaids in black evening gowns and the groomsmen in matching black tuxes.
With the rolling mountains of Tucson in the background, Christie and Jesse exchanged vows in front of 110 guests. The bride’s twin brother officiated the ceremony, which added a personal touch to the day.
After the ceremony, the party headed indoors where the ballroom had been decked out from floor to ceiling with lavish decor. Tables were adored with towering clear vases with palms spraying from the top created by Alexis Grace Florals. Candles on every table set the elegant mood for the rest of the evening. For one last dramatic detail, the couple’s cake was presented with giant sparklers as confetti rained from the ceiling. After the wedding the couple enjoyed a mini-moon at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain!
