Elaine and Andrew’s relaxed country club wedding shot by Steph Wahlig was an effortless vision. The couple first met in college when Andrew thought Elaine’s twin sister was cute. Since she had a boyfriend at the time, a mutual friend told Andrew about Elaine. Andrew and Elaine hit it off and started dating in fall of 2009 – seven years later, they were engaged. On Thanksgiving in 2016, surrounded by their families, Andrew proposed!
The couple planned their wedding for October of 2017 and let the Arizona landscape shine with a rustic theme set at the McDowell Mountain Golf Club. Andrew included his Jewish faith in the short ceremony with the tradition of “breaking the glass.” Everyone else joined in with a cry of “Mazeltov!” Their reception was set outside as well, and the decor perfectly fit into the natural scenery. The couple’s polaroid guestbook was a fun and unique addition as well.
Elaine’s delicate dress seems out of a dream and complements her true beauty and happiness. Her bridesmaids were dressed in gowns of their choice in a soft pink and grey color palette. The entire bridal party looked joyful and wondrous amongst the lush vegetation. The lovely bouquets from Bloom & Blueprint suited the desert nature setting and included light colored flowers and rich green plants. The natural flora was magnified by details of foliage at the altar and on guest tables at the reception. On their magical day, against the backdrop of blush colored rolling hills, the couple’s sweet bliss is absolutely apparent.
