Leah and Tyler met between the envelopes and packing tape in the mailroom at Grand Canyon University. On the couple’s year and a half anniversary, surrounded by Tyler’s family on a vacation in California, Tyler popped the question! After an elegant dinner, the family headed down to the beach to take some photos. To Leah’s surprise, as she and Tyler climbed a staircase to a beautiful balcony overlooking the water, a sparkling display appeared in front of her. Small mason jars filled with sand and candles lit a walkway to a single rose in a glass with the engagement ring inside. She was blown away by the surprise and the Beauty and the Beast details.
Their engagement was set to last a year and a half, but that didn’t stop the couple from starting their planning. A classy and elegant winter wedding was exactly what Leah and Tyler were going for. The colors were bold reds and golds with sequins and glitter everywhere! Bridesmaids would be dressed in head to toe gold sequins and carry beautiful red roses from Everybody Loves Flowers. The bride and groom finally felt that everything was coming together once their venue was officially booked. They were so excited to host their family and friends at SoHo63.
On the day of the wedding, the couple was ready to share their love for each other with their guests. Tyler’s favorite part of the day was reading their personalized vows to each other. Professing their love to each other in front of everyone who is important to them was very special for him. Leah loved their first look at each other. It was intimate, private, and just for them. They got to share a special moment just the two of them. Rachel Leintz Photography took on the role of capturing their special day to make sure the couple has memories to look back on for years to come.
