It is said to be a good idea to become friends with the person you might marry before you take any other steps, as most great relationships are based on the solid friendship that it stems from. Well, Beth and Zack are providing us with an example of that this week. Both Beth and Zack were in a rotational program for the Department of Transportation in Prescott when they first met. The two of them were at the program separately and happened to meet at a group dinner. On the date of their first encounter together, both Beth and Zack were in separate relationships and not living in Prescott. At the time, the two separate, devoted people did not think much of them meeting the other but to their surprise they would run into each other at a later date, both now single, and hit it off immediately!
After being together for several years, Zack began pondering his plan for how to ask for Beth’s hand. As said before, Beth and Zack were first introduced to each other in Prescott, Arizona, so Zack found it fitting for the question to be popped in that special place. Zack planned a weekend for them which started with a hot air balloon ride in Anthem, Arizona, and ended at the Hassayampa Inn in Prescott, the exact place in which they first met. Zack had intended to propose at the restaurant where the original dinner was held, but, as we all know, there was a bump in the road and the plan was veered in a different direction. Instead, Beth and Zack took a walk downtown after dinner and while at the gazebo at the Hassayampa Inn, Zack asked Beth to be his wife!
The couple celebrated their engagement with a beautiful Downtown Phoenix engagement session captured by Rachel Leintz Photography. These photos truly represent the fun-loving relationship that they share. Beth and Zack plan to tie the knot at Marriott Tempe at the Buttes in the fall.
