Kendra and Cory’s soft, desert chic wedding is absolutely adorable, and we’re so happy to be sharing it with you today! Kendra and Cory met on a beach in Wisconsin at a get-together with mutual friends. Immediately, they were attracted to each other and let the sparks fly. They began dating soon after, and dated for four years. For the proposal, Cory planned a weekend getaway in San Diego. It wasn’t until a Sunday night stroll around the marina that Cory decided to get down on one knee and pop the question. Kendra was so overjoyed that she didn’t actually hear what Cory was saying, and later had to ask him to repeat it. Even though the proposal came as a total surprise to her, Kendra said yes!
Photographed by Steph Wahlig, this gorgeous dusty blue and champagne pink wedding looks simply stunning. Aldea at Tlaquepaque was the first and last venue the couple visited, because they knew instantly that it was where they wanted to have their wedding. They also loved the all-inclusive features that Aldea offered. With only 96 guests in attendance, Kendra & Cory’s wedding was purposefully intimate and personal. One of their good friends was the officiant, and worked with the couple to create a uniquely tailored ceremony. A cigar bar, photo booth, and fantastic music kept everyone going until the late hours. At the end of the night, family and friend gave the couple a fiery sparkler exit. Kendra and Cory got to fly away to Cancun a few weeks later for their relaxing honeymoon.
