If any of you have seen the new TV drama “Dynasty” you’ve certainly witnessed a glorious example of one of our favorite new trends: Bridal Pantsuits. Not only is it the ultimate power move to buck tradition and slay in pants instead of a gown, but it also looks insanely comfortable. A pantsuit is perfect for more relaxed occasions, and people who don’t enjoy the idea of being laced up in a dress on their big day. Pantsuits have long been revered for mother-of-the-bride’s, but the idea that the style is in any way matronly is so off-base, and we’re out to prove it.

Pantsuits come in many different shapes and sizes — there’s the traditional blazer style, the edgier tank or strapless style and we would wager that rompers are now included in the mix, with their growing popularity. Pantsuits practical, but they’re also a rarity in the bridal market. However, if you dig hard enough, you’re bound to find one that’s flattering on you, no matter your shape or size. No matter what asset you want to accentuate for your future hubby (or just because you’re a hot boss lady and you know it), pantsuits have it all. And most of all, they’re easy to accessorize. Whether you have a statement necklace that simply wouldn’t work with an overly-bedazzled dress or you want to add a splash of color in a sash or even a flowery headband, the pantsuit offers simplicity without being too limiting.

With the right bridal pantsuit, you won’t just feel like you’re heading to another day in the office, but instead feel the perfect combination of sexy, strong and comfortable that brides aspire to be — and you’ll be even more free to drop it like it’s hot on your reception dance floor.
