People say that college is where you find your lifelong friends, but for Taylor and Christian, it was where they found their lifelong partner. The couple went to ASU and had mutual friends throughout their time there, but did not meet until the beginning of their senior year. The fun-loving couple met at their favorite local karaoke bar in fall of 2015 and clearly know how to turn any place with good music and good people into a great party. After dating for about a year, the couple went on a cruise together where Christian proposed with Taylor’s mother’s old engagement ring and a gorgeous sunset behind them. The couple planned their wedding earlier this year with the help of REVEL Wedding Co., although Taylor definitely had her hand in the decision making. While brainstorming with various vendors and with the help of the wedding planner, her vision of a romantic garden wedding easily came to life.
El Chorro was the perfect location for the couple’s ideal garden wedding and the venue even took care of their personalized menu. On the main event lawn, the space was dressed up with an altar cross adorned with roses and greenery. White petals covered the aisle in between white chairs set up for guests. Wyn Wiley Photography captured the entire day from the ceremony on the lawn to the reception inside. Although the reception was inside, the plethora of greenery on the ceiling and atop the tables carried on the garden theme. Taylor’s simple flowing lace gown looked as if it were made for her and the soft curls in her hair draped against her face, just like the dress against her figure. Christian and her looked blissfully in love the entire day, while doing communion together, committing their lives to one another and stuffing each other’s faces with wedding cake. After dancing the night away celebrating with their family and friends, the couple made their way to Mountain Shadows for a celebration alone after such fun filled day.
